Your Responsibilities with GVS:
Activity Planning and Implementation: Assist the Coordinator with planning the monthly Activity Calendar. Responsible for attending and executing on-campus activities and off-campus outings for the independent living community.
Communications and Reporting: Point of contact for residents for activities-related questions and information. Assists with department communications such as the Village Voice, monthly activities calendar, event flyers, etc.
Inter-Departmental Collaboration: Works collaboratively with internal GVS departments to ensure activities have the support needed to run smoothly. This includes catering requests, room set-up, transportation, equipment set up, etc.
Resident Relationship Building: Builds relationships with residents and encourages participation in independent living activities. Participates in new resident meetings to understand their needs and requests from the community.
Technology: Works closely with GVS IT department to ensure technology is working appropriately for all on-campus activities.
